The HR Assistant is responsible for:
- Maintaining the employee life cycle: this includes processing new hire paperwork, payroll changes, monitoring employee certification requirements, processing employment documentation, and other administrative duties
- Coordinate employee trainings with SGA Leaders
- Assist in administrative tasks, such as data collection, reports, employee surveys, recording meeting minutes, and more
- Assist in payroll preparation with timekeeping adjustments, pay rate changes, and troubleshooting as needed
- This role is also the first point of contact for many staff – the HR Assistant is responsible for helping connect the employee with the correct point of contact and answering basic HR questions
SGA is looking for:
- This is a great entry level role in HR – must be interested in pursuing an HR career
- Previous experience in HR or administrative duties is preferred but not required
- Capable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be proficient with balancing competing job responsibilities, while staying organized and meticulous with your work – time management skills is critical for this role
