The Columbia City boys team had their State Championships last weekend in Kennewick, Washington. They had some great results throughout all the levels. Walking away with a total of 17 event gold medals, 14 event Silver medals,12 event bronze metals. Even better than winning metals these boys learned what good sportsmanship, hard work and perseverance is all about. Out of 21 boys we had 18 qualify to Region 2 Championships that will be held the first weekend of April. Happy training, Columbia City boys!
Every year the teams in Washington state are ranked based on a points system of where the kids place at each meet. They are separated into “small teams” and “large teams.” SGA – Columbia City is considered a large team and was ranked 2nd in the state for the second year in a row. Well done boys!!
