The Vega Challenge took place on Saturday the 13th, while the ICF Coaches Cup was the weekend of the 20th. Both meets went really well, although we missed some of the boys down at the Vega challenge they still competed well despite being down some boys. On Level 4 we were missing about half of the kids but they still pulled 5th and were relatively close to 4th.

For the ICF Coaches cup we had a good meet over all. The boys were getting back into the groove of competing and doing gymnastics especially since some of them had missed practices over the break. Level 4 got 3rd overall and we have an awesome banner as our trophy! Level 6 had a man down and so we had a two man team but level 5 did really well with some of the boys preforming better than they had in practice.

This competition raises money for the Iron Cross Foundation that helps with scholarships for gymnasts who need it! What a great cause!

Even with a flu bug going around, all the boys pulled through and made it to the competition. They really showed their dedication! The team ended up receiving a total of 26 event gold medals, 12 event silver medals and 16 event bronze metals!
