We’re back starting July 6!
After over three months of closure, we are looking forward to welcoming back our gymnasts in a safe and responsible way, and continuing our mission of building strength, skill and character through gymnastics. And now, we are so excited to open enrollment for ages 4-and-over in our new summer session!
Please note, because of our reduced capacity, we had to completely reimagine our schedule, and if you would like to return, you will need to register in a brand-new class. If you were previously enrolled, you cannot return to your exact old class, nor will your old tuition be reinstated unless you enroll in a new class.
But don’t worry, many of your favorite coaches and back and ready to roll (flip, jump, etc.)!
Summer classes for gymnasts ages 5+ will run July 6 – August 30.
Summer classes for age 4 are limited, but available, and will begin July 13 (thru Aug. 30).
Summer classes for ages 3-and-under are still TBD.
Running as a session during our initial reopening will give us, and our customers, the flexibility to adjust accordingly as time goes on and we advance through the Safe Start Washington phase guidelines. Because we will be running classes at significantly reduced capacity, we expect the limited availability to fill quickly. Open enrollment begins July 1 at 9am.
If you are interested in enrolling in our summer session, click here to view the summer schedule, then use the links for your desired location provided in the schedule document to enroll, or, if you are a previously enrolled customer, we’ve added all possible classes your child can join into the “Pre-Approved Class” section of your SGA account.
Enrollment can be completed online or over the phone, however we strongly encourage online enrollment as much as possible. Spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
*Please note: when enrolling online for summer classes, you will be charged full tuition for July regardless of the start date, however August tuition will then be adjusted based on the start date of your enrolled class.
All promotion classes (Level 2 +) now require pre-approval for enrollment and will only be visible in your account if gymnasts are approved in advance to enroll.
If you have previously signed an SGA participation waiver, a new participation and liability waiver will need to be accepted prior to resuming in-gym classes / activities. The waiver can be completed online in your customer account, anytime.
We have worked diligently and intentionally to open as many classes as possible, while maintaining the required reduced capacity and social distancing requirements. We will re-adjust schedules / class sizes as we are able to accommodate additional enrollments while continuing to adhere to guidelines. Our schedule will be modified again moving into the Fall – families enrolled in the summer session will receive priority enrollment moving into the 2020-2021 class season.
All classes will be conducted with the utmost attention to health and safety. If you haven’t already, you can review our safety protocol here. Our coaches have been working hard to prepare lesson plans that re-engage our gymnasts; focusing on rebuilding back physical and mental strength and confidence in a fun, constrictive and supportive way. Multiple stations at each event will help ensure each gymnast is active and learning, while properly spaced. While we will be physically distancing, we will be socially together, making new friends while learning new skills!
As we’ve said many times before, we know that returning to our previous daily activities, including gymnastics classes, is a very personal decision for each family. If you are already enrolled in a Virtual class and would like to continue learning from home, we will continue to run our Virtual classes for as long as there is customer demand for them. If you are interested in joining a Virtual class, you can learn more here.
If you previously joined us for drop-in PLAY activities such as Indoor Playground, Birthday Parties and Parents’ Night Out, the return of these programs are still TBD. We will begin to reintroduce them when our capacity can expand, and we are confident we can execute them both in a safe, and still fun / meaningful way.
Whether in person, virtually, or later down the road, we hope to see you again. And we thank you so much for your support of SGA.
