Ballard Boys Team at State Championships 2025
Going out STRONG! What a finish to this season for our amazing Ballard Boys Team, who recently competed at State!
Coach Dalai said: “This marks the end of the season for the boys team, for all the athletes except Alan Ban. Alan qualified to compete at the Regional championships in St. Paul, Minnesota in April! We are all beyond proud of him and the hard work he has put in not just this year, but throughout all his years.
For our level 3s and level 4s, they all had an amazing performance at State Championships. Ari, Apollo, and Ayan finished in 1st place! They performed some of the best routines they have all season. Rowan took home the silver medal – he is one of the hardest workers in the gym and his dedication paid off! Smith had one of the cleanest routines and scored season high on almost every event!
Our level 4 Division 1 athletes demonstrated what great gymnastics looked like. Maverick and Miles both added tons of bonus skills in their routine and set the foundation for a great season moving to level 5! We missed Derek at the meet due to an injury, which is unfortunate because he was super excited to compete.
All in all, it was a successful State Championships and looking forward to the off season to gain some new skills!”
This is such a special team, the best group of guys anyone could ask for. You represented everything great about SGA all season long. You deserve all the applause (and a little rest after a busy year!). Can’t wait to see you jump back in this off season – and – BIG shoutout and good luck to you, Alan, at Regionals! Way to go!
