Ballard & Lake City Xcel Teams at Dream Big, Win Big

The weekend of March 7-9, our Ballard & Lake City Xcel Teams were at Dream Big, Win Big – and these teams are rocking it both in their gymnastics and in their teamwork, confidence and sportsmanship. Here’s the coaches:

BALLARD:

Coach Nina: “The gymnasts came ready to show off their hard work and they did just that. Skills are looking cleaner and more confident every meet, and I cannot wait to see their routines at state. This weekend was full of sticks and smiles and best of all, perseverance. Special kudos to the Platinum team for continuing their winning streak and undefeated season!”

Coach Ashlyn: “The confidence and refined skills were showing strong this weekend. I am so proud of each of our athletes for picking themselves up, making a correction and trying again. They keep coming back for more and are not shying away from hard work.”

Coach Israel: “It fills me with great joy to see that the Platinum team is so united and collaborative in effectively solving any situation that may arise during the competition. The judges were surprised that we were able to warm up so efficiently and in such an organized manner that we used half or even less than half of the allotted time on the clock. This gave the gymnasts great confidence and presence. I am proud of your fourth title as a team and for maintaining a positive attitude the entire time! Congratulations, Lola, on qualifying for Xcel State!”

LAKE CITY:

Coach Annika: “We had so much fun at the Dream Big, Win Big meet this past weekend! The girls got a special opportunity to speak with the judges after each event to learn about where they may have gotten deductions, and receive some feedback about their routines. This was very helpful, as we head to our last meet in a few weeks. Congratulations to all the gymnasts, and we can’t wait to watch all their final performances at State!”
