NGA Silicon Valley Gymnastics Invitational
Our Women’s Teams traveled down to California for the NGA Silicon Valley Invitational, February 23-25!
This meet was hosted by the National Gymnastics Association, an alternative to USAG. NGA uses one set of deductions over the skill levels offered to better streamline the judging process and provide a fun, safe environment for gymnasts to progress and reach their personal goals. Attending both USAG and NGA meets is important in our commitment to provide our athletes with well-rounded, positive experiences and opportunities.

“The meet went really well, the girls had a lot of fun and did awesome. We had some personal best all around scores and some of them competed some new upgrades we’ve been working on in the gym. It was also really nice to be in the warm sun for the weekend!”

“SGA Ballard traveled to California to compete at NGA’s Silicon Valley Invitational for the chance to qualify for State Championships! This was such an exciting meet to start out NGA’s season. The gymnasts had a fun time playing in the sun and showcasing their awesome routines! Shout out to all the gymnasts and teams who brought home awards. We’ll be at Bunny Hop Invitational this weekend for our final qualifying meet before we head off to XCEL State Championships.”

“It’s always fun traveling and competing in a different state, and seeing many different teams. While there were nerves and some falls, the gymnasts did a great job and hopefully had some fun! We have one more regular season meet before state at Bunny Hop and we cannot wait!”
Great job to the team for taking on new challenges at every meet with poise and determination – way to show Cali what SGA is about!
