XCEL Teams at Battle in Bellevue

Our XCEL Teams from Ballard, Columbia City and Lake City got the competition season going January 12-14 at the Battle in Bellevue!

Coach Lauryn from SGA Ballard said:

“The XCEL team competed at Battle In Bellevue last weekend and what a great start to the season! Our gymnasts have been working diligently over the summer to showcase their new skills and routines. Shout out to the Platinum team for taking home first place, the Gold team getting 2nd place, and the Silver team getting third place! We’re so proud of their determination and resiliency this year. This is going to be an awesome season!”

“It was very exciting to be competing again! The girls did amazing and were super excited to be there. A few bumps along the way, but we’re back in the gym, working hard and ready to take on our next meet, Candyland Invite!”

“What a great first meet! There were some first meet nerves but everyone competed so well we have a great idea of where improvements need to be made for the rest of the season.”
